PROGRAMME

1. round performing time: maximum 15 minutes

FOR THE INSTRUMENTALISTS:
A) One or more work(s) or single movements from the baroque period.
B) An etude or a virtuoso composition from any epoch at the participant’s choice.

FOR THE VOCALISTS:
A) One or more aria(s) from a baroque opus.
B) One or more bravura aria(s) or stretta of any epoch.

2. round performing time: maximum 15 minutes

FOR THE INSTRUMENTALISTS:
A) Selected movements or a complete opus from the Viennese classical music period (i.e. Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven or F. Schubert).
B) A composition by a composer at the participant’s choice

FOR THE VOCALISTS:
A) One or more aria(s) or scene(s) from one of the operas by Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti or Rossini.
B) Several songs or songs of romance or a series of songs at the participant’s choice.

3. round performing time: maximum 20 minutes

FOR THE INSTRUMENTALISTS (except Piano):
An opus or selected movements from a work composed or arranged for solo and orchestra from any epoch and by any composer. In this round the work will be performed with piano accompaniment.

PIANO:
A larger solo work or a piano cycle or single movements from a larger solo work. Free choice of epoch and composer. No piano concert or work originally composed for piano with orchestra accompaniment.

FOR THE VOCALISTS:
Either one or several aria(s) or scene(s) or (and) one or more series of songs. Free choice of epoch, composer and opus. The vocalist will be accompanied by piano.

All pieces of music can be performed with or without sheet music and should be interpreted without repetitions.
Arrangements will be accepted in all rounds.
